Pastoral Aide Committee. The Pastor’s Aide Committee assists the Pastor within the ministry; serving as caretakers of the Pastor and his family. The purpose of the Pastor’s Aide Committee is to provide service to the Pastor, ensuring that he is fully equipped, prepared, and able to fulfill his responsibilities in leading the congregation. The Pastor’s Aide ministry is designed to provide supplementary support to the Pastor and his family. The goal is to show appreciation to the pastor for his leadership and spiritual guidance in the church. Sometimes a pastor may find himself in a position where he is burdened and emotionally drained. God has instructed us to aide and take care of this Servant of God and recognize him as a direct messenger from God. We the 'Pastor's Aide Ministry' take these instructions to a personal level. We make sure that the Pastor and his family is supplied with certain necessities as well as comfort items.
Our focus is not to just fulfill the needs of the Pastor, but to show that he is loved and appreciated for his Guidance, Vision and Directions. We also work hard at encouraging the Congregation to highly Support, Give Service To, and Relish in his services.
- Attend Prayer Meeting and Bible study on Wednesday nights,
- Read the Bible daily and live according to the Word of God,
- Attend District workshops and training sessions and apply (put into practice) what was learned.
- Support the Pastor by attending church invitations local and out of town.
