- Standard practices include procedures and practices for the inspection, installation, and removal of electrical systems components or other EWIS components including methods of bundle attachment, wire splices, connectors and electrical terminal connections, and bonding/grounding.
7.2 WORKSHOP PRACTICES Company own or lease all necessary tools and equipment to perform the approved scope of work. It is responsible for acceptance of tool and equipment, and the level of manufacturers recommended special tools and ground support equipment as listed in the aircraft and engine maintenance manuals. In fact, modern aviation is one of the most complex systems of interaction between human beings and machines ever created. Aviation Standard Practices Manual 6th Edition
Any specification for physical characteristics, configuration, material, performance, personnel or procedure, the uniform application of which is recognised as necessary for the safety or regularity of international air navigation and to which Contracting States will conform in accordance with the Convention; in the event of impossibility of compliance, notification to the Council is compulsory under Article 38 of the Convention.
Recommended Practice
Any specification for physical characteristics, configuration, material, performance, personnel or procedure, the uniform application of which is recognised as desirable in the interest of safety, regularity or efficiency of international air navigation, and to which Contracting States should endeavour to conform in accordance with the Convention.
